Why isn’t my ring receiving message or call notifications?

Here’s what you need to check:

1. Enable Notifications in the App:
   Go to the “Me” tab in the app, turn on Call Alerts, then tap Message Notifications to access the settings page. Select the specific message types you’d like to receive alerts for, and sync these preferences to your ring.
   Note for iOS users: Make sure you’ve allowed Bluetooth pairing when prompted during setup.

2. Maintain a Stable Bluetooth Connection:
   Your ring can only notify you about calls and messages that arrive while it’s actively connected via Bluetooth. Any notifications received before the connection is established won’t trigger an alert on the ring.

3. Check “Do Not Disturb” Mode:
   If Do Not Disturb is enabled (either on your phone or within the app), your ring won’t vibrate or light up for incoming calls or messages.

4. iOS 13+ System Settings:
   On iPhones running iOS 13 or later, you must also enable system-level notification sharing:
   Go to Settings > Bluetooth > My Devices, select your ring, and turn on Share System Notifications.

Once all these settings are properly configured, your ring should reliably deliver call and message alerts as expected.
